As an artist, I keep very busy creating new cattle sculptures. I have several large & life-sized cows in process as well!
Production, yes, we always have a waiting list.
If your wondering why it takes so long to get your order, as the sole person in the studio, I have to move through the entire process with care for each and every order. The process doesn’t have any shortcuts, so it just takes time! Over the years I have had helping hands, but people retire, and yes we are in a rural setting so accessibility leaves few options.
Express orders… The hardest thing for me to say to a customer is, “I don’t have enough lead time to complete your order by the need by date”. I understand the frustration as I also get that same response for things I need to have finished. Bronze castings, and fiberglass castings are on those businesses schedules and they have a wait list.
I do have on occasion a piece or two that I have cast and finished that may be shipped out with out a long wait. If your the customer needing that particular gift or award, you may be in luck, but often it is only one sculpture, so if your ordering for a show that requires more than one, chances are no.
Express Shipping NO express shipping is available in my area. The office that accepted drop off boxes for express shipping has closed permanently, and I am in a rural area, so I no longer have the next day or express shipping options.
